Their always so welcoming and so good at explaining the moves. Their experience leads them to even correct via zoom “if you leave your camera on “ that is.. I so enjoy the classes and it has allowed me to do more than one session a week which is fantastic.. thank you both... I would highly recommend your classes

It is so useful having Elena's pilates class online. Having a live class where the teacher can correct your posture is helpful and of course you feel connected to others in the class. I like that there are a few options on times during the week as I'm not always available at the same time every week.

The online classes have been a life saver during the COVID restrictions. There has been seamless continuity in our training. It has been most beneficial that both Elena and Aoife have been able to monitor us during the Zoom classes. I need that watching eye! I have also managed to train more often, even with sneaky lessons during the working day.
The online catalogue has been useful too. I find it easier to follow a video when practicing solo.
Thanks for your moral support too and looking forward to meeting up again when we can.

Great experience for me during the lockdown having Pilates on line with Elena and Aoife. Trained 1/2 times a week. Ok not as good as being at a real class but a life saver and escape. Tuition was easy to follow and corrections were given, also reminded of your injuries and how to adjust the movement to suit. So for me a 63 yr old woman it's great to be part of this online Pilates group.

I highly recommend the Online Version of My Pilates classes. There is great instruction provided at every class and correction of participants if needed. The weekly schedule of classes allows you to chose what online sessions you want to attend and it’s easy to attend multiple classes per week compared with trying to attend face to face sessions. Recorded sessions are also available if you can’t attend the live classes. I have experienced an improvement in physical and mental well-being by increasing the number of classes I attend weekly and an improvement in my technique. Online Pilates has allowed this to happen and help me to achieve an improvement in my overall fitness.

Overall really enjoying the online sessions, love that even in lockdown and social restrictions we still can be part of a live class. With working from home I know I’m definitely sitting more and for longer periods of time as a result I feel stiffer in my lower back my gluts, hips etc so I really love than I can do Pilates more regularly throughout the week through the online sessions to help release all this tension, stretch, keep my fitness up and stay connected to an activity I really enjoy for my physical and mental health.

Prior to the COVID 19 restrictions, I attended and enjoyed weekly sessions held by My Pilates. However when the restrictions were imposed, Elena rallied around within the first week to make customised online videos available to us, so as not to break the continuity. Soon after, live online classes were set up via Zoom at least four times a week, where both Elena & Aoife conduct the sessions. The online classes are varied & challenging focusing on both mind & body. Despite the large numbers attending, Elena & Aoife still find the time to push us to our individual physical limits, correct us when necessary & also give positive feedback & encouragement. No different to the normal classes, so we do not feel like we are missing out. We certainly feel more energetic & fit despite these trying times. It is heart-warming to think that both Elena & Aoife willingly take on board our wellbeing.

I started Pilates only 2 years ago, and have been with Elena for a year and a half of that. Having had one teacher before Elena, I enjoyed it, but there was a lot of chat and it was fast passed. Then to start with, Elena just changed everything: she definitely introduced me to true Pilates! It amazes me the difference I have felt in my body and mind: I have glutes!! Nothing has ever given me definition in my lower half, and now everything is so much stronger! My lower back has always been susceptible to tiring after standing / walking for long periods, but with improved posture and strength, I notice there's very little issues now. I feel I have a lot more drive and stamina than in any other sport or hobby, and it is all down to one amazing teacher: Elena educates, encourages, motivates and pushes you to your best as she learns about how we all move as individuals and can see our potential. Her passion for her career and talent is so visible it's blinding, and from the minute I walk into her class, I'm inspired - she's got me hooked!

Eight years ago I joined a swimming club and took up sea swimming. From an ability perspective I had a long way to go to even match the average swimmer but I enjoyed the sport and challenge and kept at it. Progress was slow but about 6 years ago a friend recommended Pilates. I had heard that other skilled swimmers were supplementing their training by attending Pilates so I gave it a go. Being close to 50 at the time it wasn’t long before I realised during Pilates that I wasn’t a flexible as I used to be and was determined to reverse this, or at least slow down the process. I then found that supplementing my training with Pilates helped my performance during sea races and I also remained relatively injury free. In the last five years I have won the Leinster sea swimmer of the year, done well in and have won several sea races, completed the Galway Corrib swim, Howth Island swim, completed 5 and 10K swims, competed in the Alcatraz invitational swim, competed in the Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race, won a couple of Irish records for swimming gala events in my age group and compete in the Liffey and Harbour swims annually. Elena’s Pilates classes has been a significant contributor to my achievements particularly around core awareness and strengthening. I thoroughly recommend it.

I'm surprised how much Pilates is an overall body workout/conditioning. I think your method of teaching with so much concentration on the breathing and the pelvic floor muscles in the early sessions really help to take you through to the more progressed levels.

I started attending Elena's Pilates classes in 2010. I never did Pilates before and now, I hope to never stop doing it..
